MCU Park a Proud Host to HSSM Celebrity/Charity Softball Game
MCU is one of the High
School of Sports Management’s proud sponsors. On Saturday, June 5th the High School of Sports Management
Scholarship Fund and the Brooklyn Cyclones sponsored a Celebrity/Charity Softball Game at MCU Park to
benefit the school. The game followed a “Diversity in Sports Champions Brunch” also held
at the Park which was attended by many local officials in support of this unique and community-centric
high school.
Ceremonial first pitches were thrown out by Brooklyn Borough President, Marty Markowitz, and MCU
Chairman of the Board, Mark Brantley to officially start the game. The entire day- long event was a
fundraiser to benefit this very special high school with its distinctive curriculum and value proposition.
